47 Hours to Go!

At the 48 hour mark, all of those people who clicked the 'save' button should be getting updates from Kickstarter that Ultimate Spheres of Power is nearing its end. As such, this is hopefully when the final big push begins as well all see just how far the campaign can go and just how much better the final book will be.

We've added two more stretch goals to the list: the first one, expanded archetypes, is another increase in page count; we knew going into the ultimate spheres of power book that we would not be able to fit in every single archetype; while it is possible to just skimp on the images in that section to try and fit in as many as possible, some would need to fall by the wayside. With this stretch goal, however, we're going to be able to expand the pagecount dedicated to archetypes to try and fit in every single archetype we can; I can't promise there won't be still a few that might be dropped, but dang it all, we are going to do our best to fit in the whole library!

The final stretch goal is increased art orders; during the first Spheres of Power campaign we had a reward level where people could dictate a piece of art that would go into the book, and while we did not make such a reward level this time, at this level we will be turning to you, the community of backers who helped make this campaign possible, to vote on and decide some of the new artwork that will be featured in this book! You will be able to submit ideas, you will vote on them, and we'll see just what amazing images we will be able to add to Ultimate Spheres of Power to make it as awesome as possible.

We are almost down to the big 48 hour final push, and we have just crossed the line for the next stretch goal; now both of the additional spheres (blood and fallen fey) will be added to the book!

The Last Stretch Goals

The last piece of additional content we want to get into the USoP omnibus collection is the Wraith; a phenomenal class that makes ethereal travel and possession a class feature usable in a fun (and balanced) way right from the early levels.

Beyond that, it's all improvements; we'll be adding additional pages to the archetype section, sending out orders for new artwork, and generally just making the book as awesome as possible.

Thank you all so, so much for helping us reach this point. This is an awesome book and we are all so glad you're giving us the chance to give you something awesome.

Blood Sphere Unlocked!

The next stretch goal has fallen, and the Blood sphere will be added to USoP!

When we originally created the Spheres of Power system, we had 20 spheres that tried to cover all manner of concepts. The Blood sphere was written and released as a handbook after the fact to fill a specialized niche, and it does that job wonderfully, and we're happy to see it make the omnibus!

The next stretch goal is the Fallen Fey sphere; originally created to be a 'setting specific' sphere for the Skybourne campaign setting, it likewise fills a unique niche as being magic that deals, often quite literally, with controlling or mimicking fey beings. As a setting-specific sphere it isn't as broad for creating concepts as the base 20 spheres, but just like Blood it is a fun and unique set of options for bring fey-magic to life for your characters.

The Wraith

Today we're adding another, and probably the last, stretch goal: The new class that was likewise written after the fact from the original book: The Wraith. A class built around possession and ethereal travel, it takes something that not even the spheres thought could be made accessible from level 1 and.... makes it work, even at level 1. It's a phenomenal class and I would love to add it to the official Ultimate SoP lineup.

The Warp Handbook

The final handbook of the core 20 and final missing piece of USoP, has just been released!

Obviously this content will be included in Ultimate Spheres of Power, but if you can't wait to see what amazing things we're doing with teleportation, get the book and take a look!

We have more things to do, show you, and talk about, but with the Bear sphere releasing yesterday and the Worldwalker's Handbook releasing today, it's time to take a break. We'll be back later with more for you.
